Question 1

What is Avatud.ee?

Accepted Answer

Avatud is your service sales page with promotion in Estonia: Google, AI assistants and ChatGPT Ads, 24/7. An expert gets a page with services, prices, video and reviews that Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity can read and recommend. Clients find the expert, book a time slot and pay by card right on the expert's page — Avatud takes 0% commission. Everyone signs in with Smart-ID, Mobile-ID or ID-card, in Estonian, English or Russian.

Question 2

How do I create an account?

Accepted Answer

Click "Log in" and sign in with Smart-ID or Mobile-ID — this creates your account. New users then confirm an email address for booking notifications. Anyone can book services; to offer your own, open "Become a seller" in your dashboard.

Question 3

Is Avatud.ee free to use?

Accepted Answer

Creating an account and browsing services is completely free. For clients, you only pay for the services you book. For experts, the page and AI visibility are free; the service shop, portfolio and card payments are part of the Paid plan with a fixed monthly fee, with no commission on sales.

Question 4

How do I book a service?

Accepted Answer

Open an expert's page, choose a service and, for scheduled services, a date and time. Pay by card on the same page. You'll receive a confirmation by email and can manage your bookings in your dashboard.

Question 5

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Clients pay by bank card (Visa, Mastercard and others) right on the expert's page. Payments are processed by Stripe, so card details never reach Avatud. Other options, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, appear at checkout when your device supports them.

Question 6

Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the cancellation policy shown on the service page. With a flexible policy you can cancel within 14 days of purchase, but no later than the start of the service, and get a full refund. Services with a strict policy and instant online services cannot be cancelled by the client. If the expert cancels or does not show up, you get a full refund.

Question 7

How do I know if an expert is qualified?

Accepted Answer

Every expert signs in with Estonian eID (Smart-ID or Mobile-ID), so their identity is confirmed. Companies are checked against the Estonian Business Register. Avatud does not verify diplomas or certificates, so look at the expert's profile, portfolio and client reviews before you book.

Question 8

How do I become an expert on Avatud.ee?

Accepted Answer

Sign in with Smart-ID or Mobile-ID, choose the Free or Paid plan and fill in your profile. To accept payments, connect a Stripe account in a few steps. You publish your page yourself as soon as it is ready. New services are checked automatically against our rules before they go live.

Question 9

Does Avatud.ee take a commission on sales?

Accepted Answer

No. Avatud takes no commission on your sales: the client pays the full price of the service and you receive it in full once the service is delivered. The only deduction is Stripe's card processing fee (about 1.5% + €0.25 for European cards), shown on each sale. The service shop, portfolio and card payments are part of the Paid plan with a fixed monthly fee, never a percentage of your sales.

Question 10

How and when do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

When the service is marked completed, Avatud transfers the payment to your Stripe account. The only deduction is Stripe's card processing fee. Stripe then pays the money out to your bank account on your Stripe payout schedule. You can see every sale and payout status in the Sales section of your dashboard.

Question 11

Can I set my own prices?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You set the price of each service yourself and can change it at any time. Avatud takes no commission on your sales.
