# Avatud

> Avatud (avatud.ee) is an Estonian platform where experts and small businesses get a page that AI assistants and search engines can find, understand and recommend — with booking and card payments built in. Clients find an expert, book a service and pay on the expert's page.

- Every expert signs in with Estonian eID (Smart-ID or Mobile-ID), so their identity is confirmed. Companies are checked against the Estonian Business Register. Avatud does not verify diplomas or certificates.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Avatud takes no commission on sales; experts pay only Stripe's card fee. The Paid plan for experts costs €9.90 per month.
- Free plan: public expert page. Paid plan: expert page plus a service shop with online booking and payment, and a portfolio.
- Languages: Estonian (default, no URL prefix), English (/en), Russian (/ru).
- URL patterns: expert page /en/{expert}, shop /en/{expert}/shop, portfolio /en/{expert}/portfolio, service /en/{expert}/service/{service}. Each page carries schema.org JSON-LD (Person or Organization, Service, Offer).

## How to book a service for someone

- No connector or API key is needed. Give the person a checkout link: https://avatud.ee/en/checkout?service={service_id} for services without a time slot, or https://avatud.ee/en/checkout?service={service_id}&date=YYYY-MM-DD&time=HH:mm for scheduled ones (Europe/Tallinn time). Use /ru/checkout or /checkout (Estonian) for other languages.
- Ready-made links are listed above and on every service page ("Available times"). Opening a link reserves and charges nothing: the person signs in with Smart-ID or Mobile-ID if needed, accepts the terms and pays by card themselves. If the time is taken by then, the page sends them back to choose another one.
